Rotary Club of Towcester

Towcester Town Council

and supported by

Towcester Mill Brewery

bringing live music of all varieties to the heart of the town.

Proceeds from the 2026 festival will benefit Towcester's primary schools

🤩 On Monday, the Towcester Town Mayor presented the festival’s fundraising cheque for £4,000 to Towcester NMPAT. 🎺

🥳 £800 was also donated to local schools and organisations that took part in this year’s event: Sponne School, Friends Of Nicholas Hawksmoor School, Towcester CE Primary School, Rockschools, St Lawrence Society of Bellringers, Aspire Arts Academy, Tove Benefice, Noise Academy and Stagecoach Performing Arts Buckingham and Towcester 💃🕺

🎼 We are incredibly grateful to John, Kathryn and the team at the Mill who alone raised £1,310 towards the festival charity. Also many thanks to Ed and the team at The Pie Society at The Plough who raised a further £466 through donations on drinks sold during the festival weekend. This is the power of community working together to make a lasting impact on local young musical talent. 🎻

🎯This year’s festival cost nearly £6,000 to organise and we couldn’t do it without our incredible sponsors without whom it simply couldn’t go ahead. 💪

The tempo then rose as The Dilemma took to the stage to finish off the night with some absolutely stonking well-known numbers that got the marquee rocking! 🪩

All, in all, what a weekend 🥳 A big thank you to everyone who bought tickets to see the performances, to everyone who actually took to the stage to perform and to everyone who supported those who performed! A great community spirited, fun, family weekend, with friends and family coming together to ultimately help raise funds for the musical stars of the future, at @towcesternmpat.

We were delighted to welcome some amazing local performers on Saturday afternoon, from NHPS Y6 choir, @nn12communitychoir, Rock Choir led by Liga Milune and @songbirdstowcester! 🎤 We had nearly 100 singers in the garden, followed by 25 members of the Studio Band 🎺 and loads and loads of you, our fabulous customers 🤗 We hope you all had a great afternoon!

@towcesterstudioband kicked off proceedings on the Market Square followed by an address from the Town Mayor, Cllr Damian Reynolds, who presented a gift to outgoing Midsummer Music trustee Jim Lynch with a certificate and gift for his 20 years of support for the festival.

We were delighted to welcome special guests from Ukraine who paid tribute to their fathers fighting against invasion and shared traditional music from their homeland.

First-time on stage for young theatrical performers from @stagecoachbuckingham and rocked the hall with Towcester Rock School bands.

Finally, we ended with an evening of jazz with @tinklinlincolnthemaestro and the two Alans. Lincoln gave a heartfelt tribute to Geoffrey Iley who is sadly missed.
